Moon 'Poison' Barbed Laser Cut Marlboro red Gibson

The POISON is a men’s statement leather Gibson shoe from the Jeffery-West Italian Goodyear welted mainline, handmade in the Marche region of Italy on the Moon last.

Crafted from Marlboro red metallic rub-off leather, the upper is hand-finished to create rich tonal variation through red, crimson and darker shadowed areas. The high-shine surface gives the colour a dramatic depth that changes as the light moves across the shoe.

Across the vamp and quarters, intricate laser-etched poison ivy, thorn and rose artwork cuts through the polished finish, revealing the botanical design while retaining the sleek, elongated profile of the Moon last. Victorian-inspired diamond punching around the facings and quarters adds another layer of distinctive Jeffery-West detail.

The POISON is built using traditional Goodyear welted construction, with the upper and insole secured to a welt before the outsole is stitched into place. This gives the shoe a strong, structured build and allows the sole to be replaced by a skilled repairer when required.

A black-stained sole edge frames the vivid Marlboro red upper, while the full red leather lining continues the colour story inside. The result is an unapologetically bold Gibson shoe designed for occasions where ordinary black footwear simply will not do.

Let the POISON take the lead. Pair it with black or charcoal tailoring, a black dinner suit, dark denim or sharply cut monochrome separates.
