The Imaginarium at  Jeffery West

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 09/03/2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Imaginarium at Jeffery West (the "Imaginarium"), including any related websites, applications, 3D customisation tools, configurators, content, and services operated by or on behalf of Jeffery West ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Imaginarium, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Imaginarium.

1. Purpose of the Imaginarium

The Imaginarium is an interactive design and visualisation experience that allows users to explore, customise, and preview Jeffery West footwear designs in real time. The Imaginarium may be used for exploration and creative play, whether or not you intend to make a purchase.

Use of the Imaginarium does not obligate you to place an order, and submitting or saving a design does not constitute a purchase unless and until you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation from us.

2. Eligibility & Use

The Imaginarium is open to users aged 18 and over.

By using the Imaginarium, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.

You agree to use the Imaginarium only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Accounts & Access

No account is required to access or use the Imaginarium.

Customer details are collected only at checkout where required to process an order, arrange payment, and fulfil delivery.

The Imaginarium may use standard website technologies (such as cookies or local browser storage) to support functionality during a session. We do not guarantee that designs will be saved or retrievable once a session ends.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide at checkout is accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to restrict access or refuse service where these Terms are breached.

4. Custom Designs & Visualisations

4.1 Design Accuracy

The Imaginarium provides a digital representation of footwear designs. While we strive for accuracy, colours, textures, patinas, materials, and finishes may appear differently depending on:

  • Screen settings and device capabilities;
  • Lighting simulations;
  • Natural variations in handcrafted production.

Minor variations between the digital preview and the final physical product are normal and do not constitute a defect.

4.2 Decorative Details on Heavily Textured Leathers

All leathers available within the Imaginarium have been pre selected and tested to ensure they are suitable for the decorative options offered, including toe roses, brogue punching, and perforations.

Where heavily embossed, printed, textured, or animal effect leathers are selected, decorative details will still be applied. However, due to the inherent depth and grain of these materials, such details may appear softer or less visually pronounced than on smooth leathers. This is a natural characteristic of the material and not a fault.

These effects are an inherent characteristic of such leathers and are not considered faults or defects.

Certain materials, including Pebble Grain leather, may experience slight "pull out" or softening of the grain at the toe during the lasting process. As the leather is shaped over the last, the texture in high tension areas may appear marginally smoother than on other parts of the shoe. This is a normal and unavoidable result of traditional shoemaking techniques and is not considered a defect.

4.3 Design Parameters

The Imaginarium has been intentionally designed with defined creative boundaries. Available options, combinations, and materials have been curated to avoid designs that are impractical, unsafe, or inconsistent with Jeffery West craftsmanship standards.

As such, customers do not have unrestricted freedom to create structurally unsound or unmanufacturable footwear through standard customisation options.

5. Orders & Purchases

5.1 Order Formation

A purchase is only confirmed when:

  1. You complete the checkout process; and
  2. We issue a written order confirmation.

Saved, shared, or previewed designs alone do not constitute an order.

5.2 Pricing

Prices shown in the Imaginarium:

  • Are subject to change without notice;
  • May vary depending on materials, finishes, or configuration;
  • Exclude taxes, duties, and shipping unless stated otherwise.

Final pricing will be displayed at checkout.

5.3 Payment

Payment terms, accepted methods, and currency will be displayed during checkout and governed by our separate Sales Terms where applicable.

5.4 Lead Times & Delivery

Current estimated lead time from order confirmation to delivery is approximately 10 -12 weeks.

Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on material availability, production scheduling, seasonal demand, or unforeseen circumstances.

We will make reasonable efforts to fulfil orders within the stated timeframe, but delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

All Imaginarium orders are delivered to and dispatched from Jeffery West Head Office. International customers acknowledge that this may affect overall transit times and may be subject to additional customs procedures, duties, or local handling requirements depending on destination.

5.5 Loyalty Discount (Red Keyring)

Jeffery West operates a "Red Keyring" loyalty discount scheme which may apply to selected standard retail products.

The Red Keyring discount does not apply to:

  • Imaginarium orders;
  • Custom or made to order products;
  • Services or third party supplied elements where separate contractual arrangements apply.

Imaginarium purchases are treated as bespoke or service based orders and are therefore excluded from the Red Keyring loyalty discount unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

6. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

6.1 Grace Period Before Production

Once an order has been placed, customers have a 48 hour grace period during which they may request cancellation of the order, provided that production has not yet commenced.

After this 48 hour period, orders will typically be released into production. Once production has begun, cancellations or changes may no longer be possible.

6.2 Made to Order Items

Because many Imaginarium products are made to order or customised:

  • Orders may not be cancellable once production has begun;
  • Changes may not be possible after confirmation or release into production.

Refunds, returns, and cancellations outside the grace period are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the Imaginarium — including but not limited to:

  • Designs, models, patterns, lasts, and configurations;
  • Software, code, interfaces, and animations;
  • Logos, branding, copy, and imagery

is owned by or licensed to Jeffery West and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may:

  • View and interact with the Imaginarium for personal, non commercial use.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit any content;
  • Use designs or outputs for commercial manufacture;
  • Reverse engineer or extract design data or software.

8. Personalisation (Initials Only)

Where available, the Imaginarium may permit limited personalisation in the form of up to three (3) initials only.

No other text, wording, slogans, symbols, or freehand drawings are permitted. The personalisation feature is strictly limited to initials and may be subject to formatting, size, placement, and character restrictions determined by Jeffery West.

Initials are applied to the sole only (typically on the outer side of the heel). As soles are wearable components that may require replacement over the lifetime of the shoe, we cannot guarantee that initials will be replicated, restored, or re applied in the event of a future resole or repair service.

By creating a design, placing an order, or using such tools, you grant Jeffery West a non exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide licence to capture, use, reproduce, publish, display, and share images, renders, screenshots, or visual representations of such designs or finished products for marketing, promotional, editorial, and social media purposes, in any media, without compensation.

This licence does not affect your statutory rights and does not grant us ownership of your personal data.

8.1 Content Standards

Initials must not be used in a manner that breaches applicable law or infringes the rights of others.

We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or decline to produce any personalised order where the selected initials are considered offensive, unlawful, discriminatory, extremist, or otherwise inappropriate at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide justification.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Imaginarium in a way that disrupts or damages the service;
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data;
  • Upload malicious code or automated scripts;
  • Use the Imaginarium to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

  • Restrict access for maintenance or technical reasons.

11. Disclaimers

The Imaginarium is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

  • Fitness for a particular purpose;
  • Accuracy of digital representations;
  • Availability or performance of the service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeffery West shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunity;
  • Discrepancies between digital previews and final products within normal tolerances.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Imaginarium is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Access Restrictions & Enforcement

The Imaginarium is publicly accessible and does not require user registration for general use. As such, formal account termination may not always be applicable.

However, we reserve the right to:

  • Restrict, block, or limit access to the Imaginarium from specific users, devices, IP addresses, or sessions;
  • Disable or remove saved designs, shared content, or custom draw outputs;
  • Refuse to progress, manufacture, or fulfil any design or order that breaches these Terms or our content standards.

These measures may be applied without prior notice where misuse, abuse, or prohibited content is identified.

Limiting access to the Imaginarium does not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to such restriction.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of [England & Wales] (or relevant jurisdiction).

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England & Wales], unless otherwise required by law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available within the Imaginarium or on our website.

Continued use of the Imaginarium after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
